Delhi: Four minor boys drown in Yamuna, two bodies recovered, search operation underway
All the boys were class ninth students who made the plan of an outing to enjoy Sunday.
Delhi: Four minor boys drowned in Yamuna River near Alipur in Delhi. While the bodies of two boys have been recovered, search for others is underway.
A group of seven boys from Haryana had come to take a bath in Yamuna river, of which four of them drowned.
Rescue team including police, divers, and fire brigade is present at the spot looking for the other two boys. The boys cycled from Haryana to Alipur area near Palla village to take a bath. All the seven boys are class ninth students who made the plan of an outing to enjoy Sunday. The boys were not aware of where the river is deep and where it is shallow and got carried away with the current. The four boys who drowned are: Aditya (14) Ankit (13), Lalit (12), Nitin (12).
