New Delhi: The most awaited wedding of the Bollywood took place today as actress Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh tied nuptial knot in Italy. Two days before Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding, an engagement ceremony was organised where Ranveer and Deepika exchanged rings. Here are the details about the wedding. South Indian and Sindhi wedding: The couple got hitched in a Konkani-South Indian style wedding today and as per Sindhi tradition tomorrow, keeping in mind the traditions of both the bride and the groom. It is to be noted that Deepika comes from a south-India family while Ranveer hails from Sindhi background. Location: Ranveer and Deepika married at Villa Balbiano, lake Como. They are staying at the Casta Diva Resort in lake Como. The resort is part of the Oriental Mandarin Hotel brand which is one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world. The resort is divided into small villas and this is where Deepika and Ranveer’s families have been staying. It is in a secluded place hidden away in the corner of the Lake Como and there is a deck for boats where people can ferry from one place to another. Ranveer and Deepika are likely to reach Villa Balbiano by boat or seaplane. It is the same resort where Ambanis were staying. Events: In the Sangeet ceremony Harshdeep Kaur arrived with her team to perform.  Before that, on November couple got engaged in a Konkani traditional Phool Muddi ceremony. Reception of Ranveer and Deepika has been scheduled to take place on November 21 in Bengaluru. Costume: Both the bride and the groom will be seen in Sabyasachi creations in the wedding ceremony.
