DDC Elections 2020: Phase 5 Polling Witnesses 43.27% Voter Turnout Till 1 PM Across Jammu & Kashmir

In the 5th Phase of DDC elections, voting is being held in 37 DDC constituencies, 17 from Kashmir division and 20 from Jammu division.

Srinagar: The 5th phase of District Development Council (DDC) elections 2020 recorded voter percentage of 43.27 per cent across different constituencies spread over different districts of Jammu and Kashmir till 01:00 pm today. ALSO READ | J&K DDC Polls: Amid Third Phase Of Voting Candidate Shot In Anantnag As per the figures given by the office of State Election Commissioner, in Kashmir Division, Pulwama has recorded voting percentage of 7.20 per cent, Baramulla 37.84 per cent, Kulgam 23.31 per cent, Shopian 3.74 per cent, Anantnag 18.12 per cent, Bandipora 49.78 per cent, Ganderbal 28.91 per cent, Kupwara 37.38 per cent and Budgam 40.21 per cent till 01:00 pm. Similarly, in Jammu division, Kishtwar has recorded voting percentage of 58.96 per cent, Udhampur 55.74 per cent, Jammu 52.61 per cent, Kathua 53.97 per cent, Ramban 57.36 per cent, Doda 59.72 per cent, Samba 57.47 per cent, Poonch 59.10 per cent, Rajouri 64.54 per cent and Reasi 56.82 per cent till 01:00 pm. Moreover it was informed that the Kashmir Division recorded an overall polling percentage of 27.33 per cent while Jammu Division recorded 57.25 per cent up to 01:00 pm.
