India has recorded a huge decline in the number of Covid cases on Tuesday. The country has registered 290 deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours, as per Health Ministry.
Corona Cases Update: India has registered a massive decline in the surge of daily Coronavirus infections. The country registered 31,222 new Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The active cases account for 1.19% of total cases.
The country's recovery rate is currently at 97.48% as 42,942 patients recovered from the virus on Tuesday taking the total recoveries to 3,22,24,937.

Kerala
Kerala detected 19,688 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total cumulative tally to 42,27,526, the state health department said on Monday. The state has seen the count of fresh infections going below 20,000 for the first time in nearly 10 days.
Further, 135 more people succumbed to the disease in Kerala, taking the death toll to 21,631. The positivity rate in the state stands at 16.71% after 1,17,823 samples were tested between Sunday and Monday, as her the health department bulletin.
Maharashtra
Maharashtra reported 3,626 new coronavirus cases on Monday and 37 fresh fatalities, taking the infection tally to 64,89,800 and the death toll to 1,37,811.
Mumbai on Monday reported 379 fresh coronavirus positive cases and five fatalities, taking the tally of infections to 7,46,725 and the death toll to 15,998. The city is now left with 3,771 active cases, a BMC official said according to PTI.
