'Beware Of Scamgress': Posters In Hyderabad Call Congress CWC 'Corrupt Working Committee'

Ahead of the Congress CWC meeting in Hyderabad, posters have been put up in the city referring to CWC as the 'Corrupt Working Committee'.

Congress Working Committee Meet: As Congress leaders arrive in Telangana for the first meeting of the reconstituted Congress Working Committee (CWC), posters have been put up in the state capital Hyderabad referring to the CWC as 'Corrupt Working Committee'. The posters have photographs and names of the CWC members and mention the corruption cases pointing to their alleged involvement in the same. In an apparent warning, the bottom of the posters says: "Beware of Scamgress Scammers".

It has pictures of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, AK Antony and mentions cases like 'National Herald Scam',  'Chopper Scam' and 'Recruitment Scam' among others.

The development comes as Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, MP Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and party leader Sachin Pilot arrive at Hyderabad airport to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting here.

Meanwhile, reacting to this, Congress leader Pawan Khera alleged that there has been an agreement in BRS leader K Kavitha's family.

"...The corruption within Hyderabad will be done by her brother, the corruption within Telangana will be done by her father and the responsibility of corruption outside Telangana is given to K Kavitha...According to this agreement, she is worried that if she loses the election from Telangana, the father and the brother will think of doing corruption outside Telangana," he said.

Notably, the meeting has been called to chalk out strategy for next year's general elections as well as upcoming assembly elections in five states out of which, two are ruled by the Congress party. Kharge will be chairing the CWC meet.
