Canada Lifts Ban On Passenger Flights From India. Here Are Latest Guidelines To Follow
Canada has decided to lift this travel ban after testing passengers on three passenger flights coming from India on Wednesday.
New Delhi: The Canadian government on Sunday removed the ban on passenger flights coming from India, which was imposed under the Covid-19 protocol. On Tuesday, Canada extended the ban on all commercial and private passenger flights coming from India till September 26. Now with the end of restriction period, one can travel from India to Canada.
However, it will be mandatory for tarvellers to follow the guidelines of Covid-19, which also includes negative reports of Covid-19.

According to official sources, Air Canada can resume its flights from India from Monday and Air India will resume flights to Canada from 30 September. It is to be noted that before ban was imposed a month ago, both these airlines were operating under the air bubble agreement between the governments of India and Canada.

Covid Guidelines to be Followed
If you are also thinking of going to Canada in the next few days, then it is important for you to know these guidelines too.
It will be mandatory for passengers to bring negative report of Covid-19 at Delhi airport. This report should be done within 18 hours from the time of flight departure.
Before boarding, the air operators will check the test reports of the passengers and ensure that they are fully prepared to travel to Canada.
Passengers who have had both doses of the vaccine will have to upload this information on ArriveCAN's mobile app or website.
The investigating officer will ensure that passenger has uploaded all information. If this does not happen then you will not be allowed to board.
Passengers traveling from India to Canada via the indirect route will be required to have a negative Covid-19 report from any third country other than India. This report should be made within 72 hours from the departure.
