BSF Recovers White Bag, 2 Kg Heroin In 2 Separate Drone Intrusion Incidents Along India-Pak Border In Punjab
The BSF recovered a black drone with a white-coloured bag approximately 350-metre from the border security fence in Punjab's Amritsar.
The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Tuesday recovered a black drone with a white-coloured bag approximately 700-metre from Intelligence Bureau and 350-metre from the border security fence in Punjab's Amritsar. The force found a big packet wrapped with yellow coloured adhesive tape and one small torch from the bag, reported ANI.
Subsequently, today during search of area, BSF troops recovered 1 black coloured drone with a white-coloured bag approx 700 metres from IB and 350 metres from BS Fence. On opening of bag, 1 big packet wrapped with yellow coloured adhesive tape and 1 small torch was found: BSF

This comes after the security forces on Monday intercepted a drone intrusion from Pakistan's side along the India-Pakista border in the area of Rajata sector, Amritsar in Punjab. According to ANI, the drone was fired upon and counter-drone measures were taken.
According to ANI, after a search, the BSF troops recovered a packet containing contraband of 2 kg heroin.

Earlier, this month, the BSF fired at a drone carrying approximately 3.055 kilograms worth of heroin near the Dhanoe Kalan in the Ajnala sub-division of the Amritsar district. According to the security official, they heard the sound of the drone at around 3:12 am on Saturday entering Punjab from Pakistan, soon after the troops intercepted it by firing at it.
During the search, they recovered 3 packets suspected to be heroin from a farming field.
Today at about 3:12 am, BSF troops heard the sound of a drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area near Dhanoe Kalan, Amritsar. Troops intercepted it by firing, news agency ANI reported. During the search, they recovered 3 packets, suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt - 3.055 Kg) from the farming field.
The drugs seizure comes just hours after the BSF shot down another Pakistani drone near International Border in Punjab's Gurdaspur district which was used from across the border to supply arms and ammunition.
