Breaking News LIVE, 31 October 2020: A day ahead of voting, violence broke out in Bihar's Munger.  Bihar, which has 243 assembly seats, will go to polls in three phases - October 28, November 3 and November 7. The counting of votes will be held on November 10.  The first phase of voting will be done for 72 seats.

In Pakistan, at least 7 children were killed and 70 injured in a blast near a seminary in Peshawar’s Dir Colony, as per an update by AP.

After participating in the parade, PM Modi is interacting with Civil Services probationers or Officer Trainees, through video conferencing. They joined him from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand.
