A virtual summit will be held between India and United Arab Emirates (UAE) today after 7:30 pm. The FTA will be signed at Taj Mansingh hotel from 7:30 pm. After the Prime Minister speaks this evening, Piyush Goyal will represent India at the signing ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will hold a digital summit today in which the two countries will have a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two additional railway lines connecting Thane and Diva through video conference on Friday. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) gave this information. The Prime Minister will also flag off two suburban trains of Mumbai Suburban Railway, the PMO said.
Meanwhile, a special court in Gujarat, on Tuesday, said it will sentence 49 accused persons, convicted in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blasts case on February 18. The hearing on the sentencing ended on Tuesday and the court of Special Judge AR Patel had fixed February 18 as the date for passing the order. Special Public Prosecutor Amit Patel gave this information. In the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad on 26 July 2008, 56 people were killed and over 200 were injured within 70 minutes.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur hit out at Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal saying that "if Kejriwal is dreaming of a Khalistan then it will never get fulfiled." He furhter said that the allegation levelled against Kejriwal are huge and questioed his silence over it. Thakur's comment came after former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas claimed that Kejriwal supported the separatists in Punjab.

Breaking News Live: Gauhati High Court To Resume Physical Hearing From February 21
The Gauhati High Court and all the lower court will reusume physical hearing from February 21, reports ANI. Requests for virtual hearing, however witll be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require approval atleast one day prior from the bench concerned.

Coronavirus LIVE: India Logs 25,920 Fresh Cases Of Covid-19, 492 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
India logged 25,920 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours which was 4,837 cases less than the numbers reported yesterday. During the same time 492 deaths were recorded while 66,254 recoveries were reported.
The active caseload stood at 2,92,092 whereas total recoveries were 4,19,77,238. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.07 percent.
