SHOCKING! Two Dead Bodies Found In Restro-Bar’s Water Tanker In Mumbai's Mira Road

Two bodies were found by the police in a water tanker of a restaurant in Mira Road in Mumbai. An investigation is underway.

New Delhi: Two bodies were found in a water tank of a restaurant in Mira Road area in Mumbai. According to a report by Times of India (TOI), the bodies were found in the water tank of a resto-bar ‘Shabari’ which is located in Sheetal Nagar and are revealed to be that of two male staff. The police found the body in the tank after the owner complained of a foul smell emanating in the restaurant around 10.30 PM. They have been identified as Naresh Pandit (52) and Haresh Shetty(48) who were working in the restaurant as waiters. The bodies also had stab wounds. The police have started investigating the case. The reports say that the restaurant was shut during the lockdown but opened recently for take- away orders. The police have registered a case against unknown persons for murder. India is lifting its lockdown in a phased manner and at present the first phase of ‘unlock’ is ongoing. According to the guidelines by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), all religious places will be thrown open in non-containment zones from June 8. Hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality services and even shopping malls are allowed to reopen in the non-containment zones. Since Maharashtra still has the highest number of COVID 19 cases it had prohibited the opening of restaurants after the MHA order was announced. The state at present has recorded 77793 total coronavirus cases. The Maharashtra government has said that it will lift the lockdown in the state in a phased manner from June 1 and has issued guidelines for it.
