BJP's National Convention Lauds PM Modi's Leadership, Says Govt Made 'Ram Rajya' Come True On Ground

The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national convention on Saturday witnessed the passing of a significant political resolution titled "Viksit Bharat-Modi ki guarantee." Party leaders, amidst highlighting the government's developmental and cultural endeavors, emphasised various initiatives aimed at South India, farmers, and Sikhs. The Political resolution passed by BJP's national convention also credited the 10 years of the Modi government for making the idea of "Ram Rajya" come true on the ground, news PTI reported.
The resolution condemned the opposition's alleged engagement in divisive, caste-based politics, contrasting it with Modi's inclusive vision, which recognises only four castes: the poor, farmers, women, and youth, as per PTI.
Despite protests by a faction of farmers, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while proposing the resolution, asserted the unprecedented support extended to farmers under Narendra Modi's leadership.
Singh reiterated, "Farmers are no less than family for the Prime Minister," emphasising the government's commitment to their welfare.
He also took a dig at the opposition, highlighting the respect accorded by the ruling dispensation, a sentiment echoed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath.

According to PTI's report, Adityanath praised Modi's leadership, particularly citing the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as a momentous achievement. He stated, "Modi's guarantee is the guarantee for a developed India," emphasising the government's commitment to inclusive welfare policies. The convention resonated with slogans such as "Modi hai toh mumkin hai" (Modi can make it possible), reflecting on the government's achievements.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman seconded the resolution, underscoring India's economic resilience amid global recessionary trends. She highlighted India's position as one of the fastest-growing major economies, attributing this success to Modi's leadership, the report mentioned.
The resolution underscored the significant increase in the agriculture budget under the Modi government, reaching Rs 1.25 lakh crore, nearly five times the allocation during the previous administration. It also lauded initiatives such as the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and record grain procurement under the minimum support price regime, as per PTI.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra commended the opening of the Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims and praised Modi's leadership. Union Minister L Murugan highlighted developmental initiatives in South India, emphasising the BJP's growing national presence.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi emphasised welfare initiatives in tribal regions, highlighting improvements in infrastructure and living standards. Rajnath Singh reiterated Modi's credibility in delivering on promises and addressed concerns regarding alleged misconduct in West Bengal, the report stated.
Singh also highlighted the government's efforts in repatriating citizens from abroad such rescue of nations from Ukraine and the recent homecoming of former Navy personnel jailed in Qatar, and asserted India's enhanced global stature under Modndiai's leadership remaking, 'Unlike in the past, the world listens to India now'. Adityanath echoed these sentiments, emphasising India's strengthened borders and internal security.
"While most governments are credited with one or two achievements, the Narendra Modi government's tenure has been marked by hundreds of historic initiatives which have improved people's standard of living," the resolution stated, as per PTI.
