Bihar Elections 2020: BJP Concludes Central Election Committee Meeting; Expected To Release List Of 65 Candidates On Monday
BJP Central Election Committee (CEC) Meet: Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with several senior leaders including BJP President JP Nadda, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, party leaders Shahnawaz Hussain and Bhupendra Yadav were present at the meeting.
Bharatiya Janata Party is expected to release the first list of 65 candidates conclude who will contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. According to the sources, the ruling party held the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting on Sunday at the party headquarters in New Delhi to discuss the list of candidates for the phase -I and phase - II of the state assembly polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with several senior leaders including BJP President JP Nadda, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, party leaders Shahnawaz Hussain and Bhupendra Yadav were present at the meeting.
Bharatiya Janata Party and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar led JD(U) have agreed on a 50:50 seat-sharing formula. However, the NDA alliance witnessed a jolt when Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) announced to go solo in the upcoming polls.
Earlier today, Chirag Paswan-headed Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) parted ways from the National Democratic Alliance in the state, saying that it will not fight the elections under the leadership of JD(U) president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The party help a meeting i Delhi on Sunday and then announced to go alone in the upcoming elections.

According to the sources, the LJP in its party meeting decided to continue its collaboration with Nerandra Modi led BJP but field candidates against Nitish Kumar's JDU in the upcoming polls.
