Bihar Elections 2020: Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav released the Mahagathbandhan manifesto on Saturday reiterating his promise of providing 10 lakh jobs to the residents of the state if voted to power. Along with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala and Shaktisinh Gohil and other leaders were also present at the press conference.

At the event, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "Bihar has double engine government. Nitish Kumar has been governing the state for the last 15 years but it has not been accorded the special category status yet. Donald Trump will not come and accord that."

Tejashwi Yadav said, "Today is an auspicious day as it is the first day of Navratri and we are starting a new chapter by launching the manifesto of Mahagathbandhan for the upcoming Bihar Elections 2020."

Yadav said that their aim is to bring change in Bihar, to revive it, to make it better. On the first day of Navratri RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav promised that people at equal work will get equal pay. He also said that once elected to power they will waive loans of the farmers. The Mahagathbandhan manifesto also mentioned about providing electricity in the rural areas and better facilities to the citizens.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also said that this election is a fight against corruption, against religion-based politics, and against those who are stopping the development of Bihar. Surjewala said that if people choose Tejashwi Yadav as their leader, they will present a bill in the Parliament opposing the three new controversial Farm laws.
