Bihar cops caught playing games on mobile phones at anti-drug trafficking event
New Delhi: A few cops of the Bihar Police were caught playing games on their mobiles and were inattentive to the issues being discussed at an event in Patna on drug trafficking .
The event on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was chaired by CM Nitish Kumar. It also was aimed at improving the police personnel’s professional competences and skills in fighting drug trafficking was taken lightly by couple of senior policemen.
Patna's senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj also appeared to be busy on his mobile phone paying less attention to the significant topics being talked about.
Some others chose to remain busy on Whatsapp and Candy Crush.
One of them was seen scrolling a story on PM Narendra Modi's meeting with US President Donald Trump and his wife Melanie.
A cop in hi defence said that they had to be alert on WhatsApp to respond to vital information.
