PM Modi Tells Rajasthan MLAs To Work Towards Providing 'Double Engine' Govt's Benefit To Every Household
Earlier on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged BJP MLAs in Rajasthan to work together to ensure that every home benefits from the "double-engine" administration, PTI reported.
On Friday evening, the prime minister met with MLAs and party officials at the party's state headquarters in this city. The meeting lasted over two and a half hours.
According to Rajasthan Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, nearly all ministers, MLAs, and party office-bearers attended the meeting. He stated that Vasundhara Raje did not attend the meeting owing to family obligations. Raje was a candidate for chief minister, but the party's high leadership chose first-time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma instead.
"The prime minister, as the head of the family, has asked us to make the Viksit Bharat Yatra successful and to ensure that all beneficiaries of various schemes of the central government get benefits," Kharra said.
