Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi minister Atishi on Tuesday said there are "apprehension" that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on November 2, after the enforcement agency summoned the Delhi CM for questioning on the said date in Delhi liquor policy case.
"We are getting information that when Arvind Kejriwal appears before ED on November 2, ED will arrest and put him in jail," Atishi said in during a press conference.
Targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the AAP leader said they want to finish the Aam Aadmi Party and "this is the reason why AAP leaders are being arrested and put in jail one after the other in false cases."

Party leaders, MP Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia have already been arrested in connection with the case while another leader Satyendar Jain has been put behind bars in a money laundering case.
"When Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested on Nov 2, it would not be becasue there is any case or evidence against him but he will be arrested because PM Modi is afraid of Kejriwal," said the minister, adding "he (PM Modi) knows that if there is any one leader who openly speaks against BJP, that is Kejriwal."

The ED summons to Kejriwal came hours after Supreme Court rejected former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's bail plea in connection with the case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has previously questioned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor in April this year.
Reacting to the summons by ED, Atishi on Tuesday said, "the BJP is scared of AAP and the work being done in Punjab and Delhi by the government. They are scared of free electricity, good schools, and Mohalla clinics. Therefore, they are trying to frame AAP leaders in false cases and send them to jail."
