Amroha: Police evict 70-year-old woman from her house, drag her on street

New Delhi: Appalling visuals have surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha where an elderly woman was cruelly evacuated from here residence by the police. The 70-year-old woman in Jalalnagar was dragged by police officials on the street as she used all her strength to defy police's brute force. The forceful eviction was carried out after a fast track court ruled the case in favour of the owner of the 15-year-old house. The brutal incident was caught camera displaying police’s insensitivity in dealing with a senior citizen who just had her grandson aside during the ordeal. The woman was pulled into the jeep as the police ignored her pleas and physical pain. Later on, cops demolished a few portions of the house so that no one else could take immediate possession of it.
