ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll Results 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: Vigorous campaigning is being carried out by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in all the poll-bound states with focus being on West Bengal as the saffron clad seeks to dethrone the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) government. BJP also aims to retain government in Assam and make inroads in Kerala.
In terms of seat share, LDF is expected to get 42.4 per cent of vote share in Kerala Polls 2021 while the UDF is set to get 38.8 per cent. The BJP, which received 14.9 per cent vote share in 2016, is recording an uptick, is expected to get 16.4 per cent vote share in this year's assembly polls.
As per the snap poll, LDF is set to create history and return to power in the 140-member assembly. LDF government can win a simple majority in the Kerala Polls 2021, by winning somewhere between 71-83 seats.
Meanwhile, Congress-led UDF might get restricted to 56-68 seats of the 140 seats - higher than its 2016 tally when it won 47 seats. The survey suggests that BJP might fail to make any impact in the state as it finishes third with chances of securing 0-2 seats.
With days left for Assembly elections to be held in as many as four states and one union territory, here's a look at final Opinion Poll by ABP News for West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
In terms of the number of seats, UPA is losing 8 seats whereas NDA is projected to win 21 seats, winning 9 more in comparison to the 2016 results. These numbers reflect a possibility of the BJP alliance gaining a majority in the assembly and thereby forming a government in the union territory.
In the early projection, UPA (Congress + DMK) remains static in terms of vote percentage as it is expected to gain the same 39.5% votes. On the other hand, NDA (AINRC + BJP + AIADMK) is projected to witness a significant growth of 16.7% votes in the upcoming polls. The latter appears to be benefiting from the shift of vote percentage from the other parties in the fray.
In this early estimation, the DMK alliance is making significant gains with the coalition expected to win 117 seats, an increase of 79 seats as compared to last time, and is thereby projected to gain a majority in the upcoming election. This comes as a concerning development for AIADMK as its alliance is expected to win 49 seats, a loss of 87 seats in comparison to 2016 results.
According to the early projection, UPA (DMK + Congress + Others) is expected to see a gain of 6.6% in the percentage of votes. On the other hand, NDA (AIADMK + BJP + Others) is projected to witness a loss of -9.1% votes in the upcoming polls. The new entrant Kamal Haasan-led MNM is projected to gain 4.4% votes in the election.
Mamata Banerjee remains to be the most preferred choice for Chief Minister in West Bengal as 55 per cent voters want didi to make a comeback. Dilip Ghosh stands second in the race with 32 per cent voters want him to be the next CM of Bengal. Other candidates such as Suvendu Adhikari, Mukul Roy, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury are far behind in the league.
The much-debated question these days is will the vote share which is being predicted will translate for BJP or will it remain just another permutation and combination series only. The latest ABP News CVoter Snap Poll suggests that BJP is making inroads, close enough to threat TMC in the state. The Snap Poll suggests that TMC will get the majority as it is projected to bag 160 seats. BJP is at 112 seats as per the survey conducted which is a gain of 109 seats from the last Bengal Assembly Elections.
As per the ABP-C Voter Snap Poll, 42.1% of voters still believe in the TMC, which is a marginal dip of 2.8% from the 2016 Assembly Elections. BJP which had 10% of the vote share last time around is breathing heavily down the neck of ruling TMC as they are nearing 37.4% of Vote Share as per the latest snap poll conducted by ABP News and C-Voter.

The ABP C-Voter survey reveals that 48 per cent voters feel that TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has protected corrupt leaders in her party. Meanwhile, 29 per cent respondents believe otherwise.
When asked whether Congress-Left’s alliance with Abbas Siddiqui’s Indian Secular Front (ISF) eat into Mamata Banerjee’s Muslim votebank, 34 per cent voters said no, while 33 per cent responded otherwise,
ABP News along with C-Voter conducted a mega survey to know what voters of four poll-bound states and one union territory as the elections to elect the legislative assembly starts from March 27. Counting of votes will be done on May 2.
