ABP-CVoter Snap Poll: I.N.D.I.A or NDA — Who Benefits From Women's Reservation Bill? Here's What Voters Think

ABP Cvoter reached out to the opposition and NDA supporters and conducted a survey to find out which party/alliance would get the most electoral benefit from the passing of the Women's Reservation Bill.

ABP CVoter Survey: Both the Opposition and the ruling NDA backed the Women's Reservation Bill which was passed during the five-day Special Parliament Session, according to a survey conducted by ABP C-Voter. The 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' guarantees a 33 per cent quota for women in Lok Sabha and state assemblies including the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

ABP Cvoter reached out to the opposition and NDA supporters and conducted a survey to find out which party/alliance would get the most electoral benefit from the passing of the Women's Reservation Bill.

When asked which party would benefit the most, 36.4% of the total people surveyed voted for the 'NDA Alliance,' with 29 per cent of opposition supporters and 47 per cent of NDA supporters.

27 per cent of the opposition supporters voted for 'I.N.D.I.A' alliance, while according to NDA supporters, the opposition bloc will only benefit by 11 percent. 

20 percent of the opposition and 17 per cent of NDA voters said that both 'NDA' and 'I.N.D.I.A' alliance will benefit from the passing of the bill. Around 9.5% of respondents, including 8.1% of Opposition supporters and 11.6% of NDA supporters, remained undecided or chose not to express a viewpoint.

Furthermore, the survey delved into the allegation by opposition leaders that the Modi government brought the Women's Reservation Bill only for the purpose of taking advantage in the elections.

42.3% of the total respondents endorsed the allegation brought by opposition leaders, with 52.2% of Opposition supporters and 27.3% of NDA supporters supporting such opposition's claim.

In contrast, 42.7% of the total respondents opposed the allegation, with 31.5% of Opposition supporters and 59.5% of NDA supporters holding this perspective. Approximately 15.1% of respondents, including 16.3% of Opposition supporters and 13.2% of NDA supporters, remained undecided or chose not to express a viewpoint.
