A clash between two groups in Haryana's Nuh on Monday has now transformed into a major concern for the state government. Two home guards, one civilian were killed and at least 15 others, including cops, were left injured after a team of police reached the area to contain the clashes. The unrest meanwhile, reached Gurugram as a mob pelted stones and torched shops and a cab near Ambedkar Chowk in the Sohna Road area, reported the news agency IANS.
According to IANS, the Gurugram district administration has intensified security and deployed huge police personnel after a mob of around 500 people pelted stones and torched four shops and a cab near Ambedkar Chowk in the Sohna road area. The morning visuals from the area showed burnt cars and shops.
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has said that the state government will conduct a detailed investigation into the Nuh violence. "The situation in Nuh is under control and a curfew has been imposed in the district...Both communities have been staying in Nuh peacefully for a long time. There is a conspiracy behind this. The way stones, weapons, bullets were found, it seems there is a mastermind behind this. We will conduct a detailed investigation and take strict actions against the people involved in this," the Home Minister told ANI.
Meanwhile, as per ANI, Haryana government officials said that the situation is under control in Nuh, Sohna and adjoining districts. "13 Companies of Paramilitary forces have been stationed there, 6 more companies will be reaching shortly. No curfew is imposed in Faridabad, Palwal and Gurugram, However, section 144 is imposed to avoid any untoward incident in these districts. Peace Committee meeting will commence shortly in Sohna," they added, as quoted by the agency.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other leaders urged the masses to maintain peace and harmony in the state. In a tweet in Hindi, Khattar said," Today's incident is unfortunate. I appeal to all the people to maintain peace in the state. The guilty will not be spared at any cost, and strictest action will be taken against them."

Total Of 23 Accused In 6 Different Cases Produced Before Court
A total of 23 accused in 6 different cases were produced before the court today. Accused in FIR No. 261 sent to 4-day remand. One accused sent to 3-day remand, five accused sent to 4-day remand and the remaining sent to 5-day remand, said counsel of the accused, as reported by ANI.

Speaking on the Nuh violence, Congress MP Deepender S Hooda said, "The government should have taken preventive measures. Such a situation was created in Haryana due to the administrative failure of the government in the state. We demand from the government to take all measures to ensure peace in the state and also to not spare the guilty. The govt should take moral responsibility for the incident and make public the facts about it..Haryana CM should resign and give the command to us. We will show how to give security to all in the state," as quoted by ANI.
