New Delhi: On October 6th, 2010, Instagram launched for the very first time on App Stores, prior to which it was only available for iPhone 4. To celebrate, the app Instagram has added a new feature just for the month which will allow you to change the home screen icon.

Here’s how you can access it:
• Open Instagram, go to the settings.
• Pull the page downward until you being to see random emojis on top of the page.
• The icons will appear on the screen and you can choose the icon of your liking.
Aside, from the most recognizable Classic Instagram logo, the list includes the original polaroid logo and apparently the prelaunch logo as well. Themed logos of the current version is also available, including monochrome, rainbow, and Pride.
It is likely that these icons will be only available during the month of October and Instagram’s message reads “this month we’re inviting you to change your app icon to your favorite.”

With the new update, a new feature has been added, a private map that will be activated every time you enter a location stamp on the stories and archive of the stories from the past three years in a calendar.
