HTC 10 smartphone launched

New York: Taiwanese multinational manufacturer of smartphones and tablets HTC launched its much-awaited flagship smartphone on Tuesday. The smartphone launched in simultaneous events in New York, London, and Taipei. Based on leaked images of the smartphone, it is expected to come in Silver, Gun Metal Black, and Gold colour variants. The teasers released by the company has so far touted of having world class, front and back cameras in the smartphone. The smartphone with 16GB inbuilt storage would cost around Rs. 38,800 and one with 32GB of inbuilt storage would cost Rs. 51,100. Headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan, HTC began as an original design manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer, designing and manufacturing devices such as mobile phones, touchscreen phones, and PDAs based on Windows Mobile OS. HTC is also the pioneer in manufacturing the smartphones with Google Android operating system. As of 2011, HTC primarily releases and markets its smartphones under the HTC brand, ranking as the 98th top brand on Interbrand's Best Global Brands 2011 report.
