After the ban on popular Chinese App, the search is on for good alternatives. Here are five India made apps that are good alternatives to popular apps.
New Delhi: On the 74th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on becoming ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat' or self-reliant. He encouraged Indians to support local products, becoming 'Vocal for local'
"The mindset of free India should be 'vocal for local'. We should appreciate our local products, if we don't do this then our products will not get the opportunity to do better and will not get encouraged," said Modi during his speech from the Red Fort.
The government has banned over 100 Chinese apps in India and the voice for India made app is rising. With the Chinese app put of the picture, there is space for similar apps. Made in India apps is giving Indian developers are getting a space to create.

JioMeet: Reliance Jio officially launched its video conferencing app in July. Taking on video conferencing giants like Google and Zoom, the platform can support 100 people at once in a video conference and it is absolutely free.
MX Taka Taka: India based MXPlayer launched TakaTak as an alternative for the popular app TikTok. Users can create and browse through various types of videos ranging from Dialogue Dubbing, Comedy, Gaming, DIY, Food, Sports, Memes, and many more.

Koo: India's microblogging app Koo is set to compete with Twitter which won the title prize in PM Modi's Atmanirbahar App Challenge. Through Koo, Indians can share their ideas, opinions, views, and news with people and can also connect with people.
Hike: Hike Indian messaging app, if you have gotten tired of WhatsApp you should try Hike. It launched way back in 2012 and made stickers very popular. Hike launched a feature called HikeLand for users to connect with people while watching movies and shows together, online.
Gaana: Gaana is for all the music lovers, launched in April 2010 by Times Internet, and provides both Indian and international music content. The app comes with a large selection of local, international, and even regional music on it. It even comes packed to the brim with all your favourite Bollywood songs as well. So far, it has 185 million monthly users.
