Several media reports are pointing out that Apple is showing indicators of working on its own search engine through the job hirings listed on its website.

New Delhi: Apple is perhaps working on its own search engine in a bid to compete with the most widely used Google. ALSO READ | Epic Games, Fortnight iPhone: iPhone Users Won't Get The Update As Epic Games Stand Firm On Payment Feature Several media reports are now pointing out that Apple is showing indicators of working on its platform through the job hirings listed on its website. Users have the option to opt for another alternative in settings but the first default search options set is Google. This may change as reportedly UK authorities have their eyes on this anti-competitive deal and may soon force Apple to give users a clear option to choose their own alternative when they use Safari for the first time. With its own search engine, Apple will be able to present a deeply integrated OS experience for its users wherein they can directly link their iCloud data and get more personalised results. A possible scenario being speculated is how it will not be oriented to data mining and advertising but will offer an integrated system for the OS users. The exclusivity for Apple users for their devices can bring a sense of a complete Apple experience while giving the company a good space to promote its own services like Apple TV+.
