Apple event 2018: Iconic smartphone brand Apple started its annual launch event at its headquarter in California on Wednesday. The event has already become a hotbed as the company has announced to launch the iPhone Xs, besides new iPad Pro for 2018, Apple Watch Series 4 and other such products. The mega event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre, a part of company’s Apple Park base. As per reports, the event will start at 10: 00 PM PDT on September 12. Apple will host a live stream of the entire event live and Indian customers will be able to watch the same at 10: 30 PM (IST). September has always been an exciting month for all Apple customers as the company releases new iPhone models during this time.


Where to watch
The event can be viewed on Apple devices including iPhones, iPads, iPods and Mac. Those who wish to catch the event from a Windows 10 PC can do so via the Edge browser. The company will also live stream the event on Twitter for the first time. If you have an Apple TV, you can download the Apple Events application from the App Store and watch the fourthcoming and older events. However, if you don’t have Apple TV, the company also lets you live-stream the event from the Apple Events section on its website.

What to expect
Several market analysts believe that Apple plans to release three new smartphones this year, including one with a larger display than previous models. Apple is also expected to release an iPhone with edge-to-edge display similar to the iPhone X but using less-costly LCD screen technology.



As per industry experts, the iPhone models that which launch later today could be named as iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr, and iPhone Xs Plus. Reportedly the main difference in these devices will be their display size. As expected, the iPhone Xs will feature a 5.8-inch OLED display, iPhone Xr will have a 6.1-inch LCD display and iPhone Xs Plus will sport a 6.5-inch OLED display. Apart from the abovementioned products, the customers across the globe are fervently waiting for some update related to iOS 12.

Among its new features such as improved overall device performance, iOS 12 is specualted to come with a group FaceTime with up to 32 people at a time. Apart from iPhones to receive iOS 12, The US-based tech major has also confirmed that all iPhones starting from iPhone 5s will be eligible for the update.
