Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turned 72 on Saturday, has a packed schedule on his birthday and will launch a number of projects in different sectors. The most notable of all the projects is the release of eight cheetahs brought from Namibia in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park.

Besides, BJP has lined up several events for the special day. Social activities like blood donation camps, free health check-up camps, adoption of TB patients are some of the events planned by BJP across the country. 

The first event of the day for PM Modi will be the release of cheetahs brought from Namibia in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park. He will arrive at the Gwalior airport from New Delhi at around 9.20 am and leave for Kuno National Park (KNP) in the Sheopur district. He will release the cheetahs into quarantine enclosures at around 10.45 am, PTI reported.

A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is in Goa to to investigate the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat. The investigating agency is likely to visit the Curlies restaurant and bar, where the incident took place, and record statement of some people.

E-auction of over 1,200 Gifts, Souvenirs Of PM Modi will be Be Auctioned On His Birthday. The funds will be utilised for 'Namami Gange'.

To commemorate the completion of eight years of Swachh Bharat Mission, the government will start a 15-day campaign from today.

President Draupadi Murmu will travel to London from today to September 19 to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain and offer condolences from the Indian government.
