LDF To Protest Against Centre's Alleged Neglect Towards Kerala:
The ruling Left Front in Kerala, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, will protest in the national capital on Thursday against the Centre's alleged neglect of the southern state in financial matters.
While the opposition rejected the LDF's invitation to the Congress-led UDF to join the protest, it received support from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin.
Left front ministers, legislators, and parliamentarians from Kerala will actively participate in the protest, which begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Vijayan stated on Wednesday that the LDF was forced to engage in such an unprecedented struggle in order to ensure Kerala's survival and advancement.
"This agitation is intended to safeguard the constitutional rights of all states, not merely Kerala’s. The aim of this struggle is not to triumph over anyone, but to secure what we rightfully deserve instead of surrendering," the Kerala CM said in Delhi according to a statement issued by his office.
