Welcome to the ABP News LIVE for Thursday, March 11, 2021: The Trinamool Congress today said “nothing will break” the will of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who was allegedly attacked while campaigning in Nandigram hours after she filed her nomination. Banerjee claimed she was heckled by at least 4-5 men while she was interacting with locals in Birulia Bazar, East Midnapore. 

India will vaccinate those above the age of 50 years in its next phase of Covid-19 inoculation drive. The priority list drawn by the National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-19 (NEGVAC) recommended that after vaccinating nearly 30 million health care and frontline workers, the next should be those above 50 years of age, including those with comorbidities.

Senior leader P C Chacko’s resignation over “lack of democracy in the party” has come as a shock to the Congress’ Kerala unit. Chacko made the announcement on Wednesday in Delhi.

Calling it quits, Chacko said that it has become difficult to be a Congressman without being in one of the “groups”, alleging that the list of the candidates for Kerala assembly elections was not discussed in the party’s poll committee.

As per reports, the TMC supremo will address poll rallies in Purlia district's Balrampur and Baghmandi on March 13. On March 14, she will visit Bankuda and on March 15, she will campaign in Jhargram.
