Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy Presents Rs 2.56 Lakh Crore Budget
Buggana said that the government is working for the welfare of farmers.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy Presented the budget in the Assembly on Friday.He presented a Rs 2,56,256 lakh crore budget with a Revenue Expenditure of Rs 2,08,261 lakh crore while capital expenditure was Rs. 47,996 lakh crores.
Buggana said the government was working on human resource development, infrastructure creation, livelihood support and social security. All four are standardized by organizations such as the United Nations.
He said the NITI Aayog, SDG India2020-21 report, reminded that Andhra Pradesh is in the top five in Sustainable Development Goals like poverty alleviation, clean water, sanitation, gender equality, sustainable energy resources and conservation of marine life.
Buggana said that Andhra Pradesh had been ranked high in the Justice Commission's Multiple Poverty Report through welfare programs undertaken by the government. It ranks fifth in poverty reduction.
He said that the government is working for the welfare of farmers. Under YSR Rythu Bharosa -Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi for the year 2022-23 Rs 3900 crore has proposed to benefit 52.40 lakh farmer families.
