CM Jagan explained that Covid-19 control operations were implemented according to the field conditions in Andhra Pradesh. He said "We surveyed 44 houses as a unit. For this, one volunteer worked for every 50 homes. Forty-two thousand Asha workers took part in it. We went to the house and identified those who showed Corona symptoms. Isolation centres had been set up, and medicines were provided. We implemented a plan that provided patients with the nutritious food they needed. Hence the corona mortality rate in AP was recorded at 0.6 per cent, the lowest in the country, far below the national level".
We are setting up a medical college in every parliamentary constituency. PG-level medical students are available in medical colleges. With the help of ambulances, doctors can go to remote villages and provide medical treatment in Andhra Pradesh,” said CM YS Jagan.
