8 CRPF Personnel Get Injured As Their Vehicle Falls Into J&K's Sindh Nallah

A vehicle carrying CRPF personnel fell into the Sindh Nallah of Jammu and Kashmir which left eight injured.

Eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel got injured on Sunday as their vehicle rolled down the road into the Sindh Nallah of Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district. The injured were on their way to the Amarnath shrine via the Baltal route when the unfortunate accident occurred. As per officials, the vehicle rolled down during the early hours of the day. All injured were rescued and taken to Baltal base camp hospital, reported news agency PTI.

Further updates on the matter are awaited.

In another incident in Kashmir, a speeding truck rammed into a CRPF vehicle in May which led to three personnel getting injured. As per Times Now, the CRPF vehicle was stationed near a bunker on National Highway on Nambal Awantipora when the incident occurred.

In another incident that occurred in April, a vehicle carrying CRPF personnel met with an accident in Bihar's Jamui. The driver of the CRPF 215 battalion's vehicle lost control of the wheels and fell into the river 20 meters below the Khapariya bridge. During this accident, four soldiers travelling in the vehicle were injured. All the injured were rushed to District Sadar Hospital by the other soldiers who were also travelling with them. After giving first aid to the soldiers, the doctors referred two seriously injured soldiers to the Higher Center in Patna, while the remaining two soldiers were treated at Sadar Hospital.

As per sources, all the injured personnel lived in Jamui police line. These CRPF personnel were on their way from the Jamui police line when suddenly a high-speed vehicle came in front. In order to avoid a crash, the driver of the CRPF vehicle attempted to turn the bus but in the process, he lost control of the wheels and fell into the river. An investigation into the matter was launched as well.

The injured soldiers included Anish Singh, CT Yalmo, Suburaj and Santosh Yadav. As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior CRPF officers also reached the hospital.
