Feroz Khan, the Bollywood actor once dubbed "the Clint Eastwood of the East" because of his maverick roles and manly swagger had been fighting cancer for a year before his death in 2009 in Bangalore.

Firoz died 8 years ago on 27th April, 2009 at the age of 69 while Vinod Khanna was 70!

Vinod Khanna and Firoz had also done 'Shambhu Shankar' in 1976, 4 years before before they did 'Qurbani' and became friends.

Firoz Khanna and Vinod Khanna had reportedly grown close to each other and went on to become thick buddies post doing 'Qurbani' together that was directed and produced also by Firoz Khan.
