A video of a mob overturning a car is viral on social media. Giving a communal color to the video, it is being claimed that a Muslim man had deliberately parked his car in the way of the Rath Yatra of the temple and refused to move it, hence Hindu devotees got angry and overturned the car. BOOM in its investigation found that the viral claim is false. The constable of Mulki police station in Dakshina Kannada told BOOM that there is no communal angle in the viral video.
