Total Dhamaal: Aamir Khan Gives the mahurat clap on the first day shoot of the much awaited comedy film!

Total Dhamaal will also see the return of the comic gang of Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey along with Boman Irani.

Superstar Aamir Khan who has worked with renowned filmmaker Indra Kumar for multiple box office hits, gave the mahurat clap for 2018s much awaited comic caper Total Dhamaal!! The shooting of Total Dhamaal commenced today in Mumbai and Aamir graced the shoot with his presence for the very first day!

"Total Dhamaal" is the third film in the comedy entertainer franchise "Dhamaal". It will be directed by Indra Kumar. It is slated to release on December 7.

A tweet from the official page of Fox Star Hindi, who will be presenting the film, read: "Presenting more laughter and more madness. 'Total Dhamaal' is our latest collaboration with Ajay Devgn Films to give you your next dose of rib-tickling comedy. Directed by Indra Kumar, this laugh riot is set to release on December 7!"

A source close to the development had also stated that Sanjay's busy schedule and the already locked dates are also reasons behind why the actor opted out of the movie. (ANI Input)

While Anil Kapoor directed the shot and director Indra Kumar assisted him, Madhuri Dixit switched on the camera and the mahurat shot took place with the presence of everyone including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Javed Jaffery and Sanjay Mishra.

While Anil and Madhuri join the 'Dhamaal' comedy gang, Sanjay Dutt who played a crucial role in "Dhamaal" and "Double Dhamaal", decided to quit Kumar's "Dhamaal" franchise. It was rumored that Dutt quit "Total Dhamaal" due to its "adult comedy" while filmmaker Indra Kumar says it is very much a family entertainer. (ANI Input)

Ajay had tweeted on Monday: "Kal se karenge 'Total Dhamaal'! (From tomorrow we'd do 'Total Dhamaal')."

Presented by Fox Star Studios, Total Dhamaal is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Ashok Thakeria, Markand Adhikari, Anand Pandit and Fox Star Studios and is directed by Indra Kumar.

The hugely awaited laugh riot also has a casting coup with the hit duo Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit joining Ajay Devgn in the film.
