It is such an immense joy and privilege to work with John Galliano on The Met, a designer who first made me fall in love with fashion and who has had a huge influence on my deep appreciation for creativity. Our interpretation of this year’s dress code was a journey which evolved and was shaped as we got to know each other. We loved the idea of the fragility of time and life co-existing with strength and permanence and incorporating my own sleeping beauties; my set of wedding jewels. It has been an honour to work together with a legend, and such an open creative collaborator to make an everlasting living piece of art."
In addition, she thanked Christian Louboutin and wrote, "And a huge thank you to my dearest Christian Louboutin who wove his magic into our collaboration by creating the most insanely beautiful shoes, linked so intimately to the look and to what we were all trying to achieve together. His eye for detail and craft are unparalleled, and what make him the best!!"
Apart from this, she also wore Paco Rabanne’s 1967 epic micro dress featuring plates woven together. she completed her look with transparent heels and wore her hair in a wet look.

I couldn’t think of anything better than this Viktor and Rolf piece from their AW2018 collection to honour the opening of The Met’s latest exhibition; resuscitating iconic fashion and honouring legendary mastery in craft and design.
