The festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is celebrated on Chaturdashi of the Krishna Paksha of Falgun month. There is a religious belief that on the day of Mahashivaratri, Lord Shiva appears as Jyotirlinga.

The festival holds great significance for Hindus all across the globe and this day marks Lord Shiva's marital union with Goddess Parvati.

Lord Shiva is known by many names, and in mythological texts 108 names of Lord Shiva are mentioned.

First go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your Android, iOS device

Then type in for Maha Shivratri WhatsApp stickers

You need to install any of the applications that include Maha Shivratri stickers

Open the downloaded app and click on add stickers to WhatsApp.

After this step, you can open WhatsApp and open the emoji button
