Ingredients for Sabudana Halwa
⦁ 1 cup Sabudana
⦁ 1/2 cup sugar
⦁ 4 tbsp ghee
⦁ 8-10 chopped almonds
⦁ 8-10 chopped cashew nuts
⦁ Few strands of saffron soaked in milk
Sabudana Halwa Recipe
Step 1: Wash the Sabudana thoroughly and soak it in water for about 1 hour.
Step 2: Drain soaked Sabudana and remove the excess water.
Step 3: Add ghee to a pan, heat it, and add Sabudana. Fry it on medium heat.
Step 4: When Sabudana is roasted, add 2 cups of water and keep stirring it occasionally.
Step 5: Eventually the Sabudana will become translucent.
Step 6: Continue cooking it on medium heat.
Step 7: When the Sabudana is cooked, add sugar and saffron to it.
Step 8: Continue to cook until the sugar melts.
Step 9: When the sugar melts, add chopped almonds, cashew nuts, and cardamom.
Step 10: Now, you need to cook the mixture on a low flame.
Step 11: Give all the ingredients a nice mix and serve it on a plate.
Step 12: The delicious Sabudana halwa is ready. You can also eat it during fasting.
