The fasting (upavasa) period for Karwa Chauth in Kolkata is from 05:41 am to 07:46 pm, with the puja (worship) scheduled from 04:59 pm to 06:15 pm. The moonrise is expected at 07:46 pm. The Chaturthi tithi begins on October 31 at 9:30 pm and concludes on November 1 at 9:19 pm.
