With a strong women's fighter spirit theme, Jigra is also about that sibling bond. Jigra hits theatres on 11th October 2024. Jigra is produced by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt together.

2. Do Patti

Kanika Dhillon's Do Patti features Kajol and Kriti Sanon in key roles. The cop thriller is the debut film from Kanika's production house, Kathha Pictures, and will release exclusively on Netflix. It is penned by Kanika Dhillon herself and directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi.

3. Gandhari

Taapsee Pannu's upcoming film Gandhari is a powerful women-led revenge drama. This marks the sixth collaboration between writer-producer Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee, with Devashish Makhija directing. The team is gearing up to begin shooting this November.

4. Maa

Maa starring Kajol is one of the most-awaited movies. Directed by Vishal Furia, the shoot of the movie has already been wrapped, and we are keenly waiting for it to hit the screens. Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn under the banner of Devgn Films.

Film Star, Sanya Malhotra in the lead role, directed by Aarti Kadav. This is an extremely complex character portrayal of a woman trained in dancing and as a teacher, yet at the same time takes on the responsibility of being a wife after getting married and tries to find her own path to define her voice and personal identity in order to free herself in self-expression despite the concerns from society regarding her marital life. The film is an official remake of a Malayalam comedy drama film, The Great Indian Kitchen.
