Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath announced as new CM; to meet Guv tomorrow at 10:30am

After a daylong deliberation, the Congress party came up with the name of Kamal Nath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Suspense has still not been revealed from the names of the Chief Ministers to be installed in the other two states. Sources have revealed that names of Ashok Gehlot and T S Singh Deo have almost been finalised by the high-command of Congress as the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh respectively. However, an official announcement is yet to be made about it. Tussle between the old and young guard has intensified within the party and the announcement is likely to be made tomorrow.

On being asked about his oath-taking ceremony, he said he will meet the governor at 10:30 am on Friday and then they will decide on a date when he will take oath as the CM of the state.
The party's Observer for Madhya Pradesh, A K Antony made a formal announcement of Kamal Nath's name as the CM-designate of the state.

In a brief conference, Nath said: "I have full faith that the future of Madhya Pradesh is secured. I thank each and every voter and assure that whatever was promised in the manifesto will be fulfilled."

Mallikarjun Kharge- Observer for Chhattisgarh says, the decision on the name of the Chief Minister will be taken on Friday. Bhupesh Baghel and T S Singh Deo have emerged front-runners in the race to CM in the mineral-rich state.

Ashok Gehlot went to airport to leave for Jaipur today evening, but returned home without boarding. He is likely to reach Jaipur tomorrow in the morning.

Rahul Gandhi reaches his residence after a brief outing where UPA chief Sonia Gandhi is already present; Jyotiraditya Scindia is also present at his residence.
Sources revealed that the official announcement of CM names in the three states is likely to get further delayed as some confusion still prevails over the names.
As per sources, the final stamp on the name of CM is still due, but preparations for oath taking ceremony have taken off in Rajasthan Raj Bhavan.
Gehlot is likely to reach Jaipur at 7:45...Pilot also likely to take the same flight along with observers.






Meanwhile, outgoing Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has denied making a move towards Centre. "I’ll live in Madhya Pradesh and die in Madhya Pradesh", he said.



Sources have told ABP News that Ashok Gehlot will be the CM of Rajasthan, Kamalnath will be the CM of Madhya Prdaesh and T S Singh Deo will be announced as Chhattisgarh CM.
