JD(U) delegation meets President over special status to Bihar
New Delhi (India), July 10 (ANI): A six-member delegation of Janata Dal (United) met President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday to discuss special status to Bihar.
JD(U) leader Ashok Chaudhary led the six-member delegation.
He told ANI that the President reacted positively to the discussion.
Chaudhary also requested the President to visit Bihar.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also put forth the demand for granting special status to his state.
