The Dera chief had two shades to his personality as the head of the cash-rich Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) sect -- one of leader of social causes and another for crimes. He led an enigmatic life of ultra-luxury and pomp in public appearances and in private.

Ram Rahim's ‘MSG Bhartiya Khel Gaon’ has spread up in 23 acres. The complex has a cricket stadium, a clay and synthetic court for lawn tennis, grounds for hockey and football, and courts for volleyball, basketball and handball.

A multi-specialty hospital, a luxury resort, an international school feature inside Ram Rahim's Dera headquarters.

Each room in Dera chief's resort is equipped with facilities like a private swimming pool, auto-filtration and butler services.

The resort of Ram Rahim on the outskirts of Sirsa town in Haryana is nothing less than a theme park.

The quantum of sentence was announced by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court judge Jagdeep Singh at a specially set up court inside the library of the District Jail in Sunaria near Rohtak town in Haryana.
