Army organizes rally to address grievances of veterans

Rohtak, (Haryana)[India] Feb. 25 (ANI): Indian Army organized a mega rally in Rohtak in order to address the grievances of veterans, war widows and those disabled in the line of duty on Sunday.

22 stalls were set up during the event to resolve pension anomalies including others such as Canteen Smart Card registration, Aadhar registration and also to look into resettlement issues.

Indian Army, which is celebrating 2018 as the 'Year of Disabled Soldiers', gifted 31 specially modified scooters, one motorized wheelchair, 20 wheelchairs and several other grants to the disabled soldiers.

10,000 servicemen attended this mega event, said an official. (ANI)
