Army chief General Bipin Rawat's statement on Pakistan 'motivating' for soldiers: Defence experts
New Delhi [India], September 26 (ANI): Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat's firm statement on Monday is absolutely "motivating" for soldiers, assert defence experts.
For the unversed, the Army chief General had stated that the surgical strike conducted by India along the Line of Control (LoC) will be repeated if adversary does not mend its ways.
"This is the season when the terrorists will try to infiltrate before the snowfall begins and when these terrorists try to do this, we are going to dominate the LoC. We are going to flush out these terrorists," defence expert Shivali Deshpande told ANI.
She further stated that Army Chief General Rawat's statement is very inspiring and motivating for the Indian troops.
Speaking on the same, defence expert PK Sehgal asserted that Pakistan doesn't seem to come into its senses.
"Its locus standard primarily is based on hatred for India. It continues to do ceasefire violation, continues to do infiltration and continues to dream and hope that it will be able to inflict major damage to India, like it did in Uri," Sehgal told ANI.
He further said that notwithstanding its desire, India has bluntly told Pakistan, "We are waiting for you, should you make the mistake of attempting to do something similar, you will be dealt with perhaps far more strongly than what we did through our surgical strikes."
While addressing amasses at a book launch event in the national capital, General Rawat said that the terrorists on the other side of the LoC are ready to infiltrate in India and so is the Indian Army to strike them down.
"Surgical strike was conducted to send a message and if adversaries do not understand, it will be repeated," General Rawat said.
"We are ready to receive the terrorists that enter this side of the LoC who we will send to their right place, their graves," he added.
India carried out surgical strike on September 29 2016, eleven days after Pakistan carried out Uri attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Apart from this, Pakistan has been continuously violating ceasefire along the LoC.(ANI)
