226 youth inducted into Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Battalion

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Sep 29 (ANI): 226 youth from Jammu and Kashmir were inducted into Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) Battalion.

The passing out parade of the newly-inducted troops was held at the regimental centre, Srinagar.

The Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army.

Its regimental insignia consists of a pair of crossed rifles.

The regiment mostly consists of volunteers from the state of Jammu and Kashmir.(ANI)
