ABP Network Ideas Of India: SBS Group Founder Sanjeev Juneja To Deliberate On Future Of Economy

Sanjeev Juneja, founder, SBS Group of Companies, will be seen speaking on the topic 'Building Tomorrow's Economy', with India setting its sights to become a $ 5 trillion economy by 2027.

The second edition of the ABP Network "Ideas of India Summit", which will be held on February 24-25, will see speakers will share their thoughts on what constitutes "Naya India" and how our country, which is now the fifth-largest economy, can position itself as a developed nation by 2047.

Among the host of speakers at the event, Sanjeev Juneja, founder, SBS Group of Companies, will be seen speaking on the topic "Building Tomorrow's Economy" along with Chandra Prakash Agrawal, chairman and managing director, Gallant Group of Industries, and Suvankar Sen, MD and CEO, SENCO Gold and Diamonds.

Juneja, who is also an investor and philanthropist, is the founder of Ayurvedic firm "Divisa Herbal Care", which is amongst the fastest growing FMCG firms of India.

He is better known in the Indian market as the founder of the "Kesh King" brand. In 2015, he created a history in the FMCG sector by selling the brand to Emami Limited for $262 million, which has been recorded as the second highest paid brand.

At the ABP summit, Juneja will be deliberating on the future of India's economy, which is expected to grow 6.9 per cent in the 2023 fiscal year, as per the World Bank. The IMF has also said that India continues to remain a "relative bright spot" in the global economy amid global slowdown.

The ABP Network "Ideas of India Summit" takes place at a time of global geopolitical tensions and with just a year to go for the general elections in India. 

South Asia has been plagued by economic instability, opening up ruling regimes to the scrutiny of intent. Employment and rising costs continue to be the main issues at home.

India, which is presently the fifth-largest economy, has set its sights to become a developed nation by 2047. To achieve that goal, the government has prioritised infrastructure development and ramped up efforts towards 'Make in India', which is geared towards facilitating global investment into the country and strengthening local manufacturing and employment. 

Eminent personalities like former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, Infosys founder and chairman emeritus Narayana Murthy, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal, Eknath Shinde and Bhagwant Mann, Bollywood legends Zeenat Aman, Asha Parekh, social media influencers, music personalities, educationalist and many more will be presenting their idea of 'Naya India' from the stage of 'Ideas Of India Summit' 2023.
