Dehradun: To prevent coronavirus infection, 100 per cent vaccination work has been done in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Whereas in Rudraprayag district 99 per cent vaccination work has been done, said Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami at CM's residence on Wednesday. The vaccination campaign against Covid across the state now seems to be moving towards its goal.


Bageshwar district in Uttarakhand has achieved its full target of the first dose.


CM Congratulates Officials


Along with Bageshwar, Khirsu block of Pauri district has also achieved its target and achieved 100 per cent target of first dose in the entire block. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the officials of Bageshwar district and Khirsu block and said that other districts of the state will also take inspiration and complete the vaccine mission work as the state government has set a goal to complete the vaccination in Uttarakhand within the next 4 months.


Chief Minister Dhami said that 19 lakh covid-19 vaccines have been given by the Centre in the state this month and if the state continues to get the vaccine at the same pace, the state will achieve its target.


All those trapped in Afghanistan will be brought back efficiently


Meanwhile, Dhami has expressed concern over the people of Uttarakhand trapped in Afghanistan. He said that he has held talks with NSA Aji Doval about the stranded people and a list of people trapped in Afghanistan has been sent by him to the Centre. The newly appointed CM also said that he is trying to bring all the people of the state back to the state efficiently.
