'Congratulations WORLD!': Trump Makes Mega Announcement As New York Begins Covid Vaccination Drive

Hospital workers across 50 states today felt hopeful as New York began the largest vaccination campaign against the deadly coronavirus pandemic on Monday.

The largest vaccination campaign against the deadly coronavirus pandemic got underway Monday in the Unites States to protect the health workers them from COVID-19 and start beating back the pandemic. "First Vaccine Administered. Congratulations USA! Congratulations WORLD!" President Donald Trump tweeted.

Hospital workers across 50 states today began unloading first vials of nearly 3 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine. A nurse in New York City was among the first people to receive the early dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on Monday morning.

Healthcare Workers 'Relieved', 'Hopeful'!

"I feel hopeful today. Relieved," Sandra Lindsay, a critical care nurse at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York said after receiving the shot live on the television. "This is the light at the end of the tunnel. But it's a long tunnel," New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said as he watched Lindsay's vaccination via video. The Pfizer vaccine is being transported from Pfizer's Kalamazoo, Michigan, factory in massive trucks with dry ice packaging that allows it to stay at ultra-frozen temperatures. The vaccine, as per his claim, will be free for all Americans. Senior citizens, health care workers, and first responders are most likely to be given preference. The vaccinations will be offered to critical personnel in all three branches of government deemed essential and could start as soon as Monday. Various other groups, from airline workers to teachers to meatpackers, are keen for early access too. The shots will be staggered over the following 10 days to ensure staff don’t experience possible side effects all at the same time.
