Sugar makes you feel good despite side effects, but it is important to note that processed sugar is different from the natural sugar found in honey and fruits.

Side Effects Of Quitting Sugar

Refined sugar known as sucrose is more processed than sugarcane, sweet beetroot. They are high in calories and have no nutritional value, while natural sugar contains vitamins and minerals. Sugar is usually eaten to quench the taste buds. Therefore, the decision to quit sugar is very difficult.  Removing sugar from your diet can have an important effect on your health.

Research has shown that when a person stops eating sugar, it is similar to the effect of getting away from drugs. You may experience fatigue, headache, brain fog and irritability. A few days after you stop consuming sugar, your body will show extensive changes. During this time, different symptoms appear, and it also depends on how much sugar you were consuming.

Your body will gradually be affected when you skip sugar completely. Sugar is a good source of glucose or energy in your body. Insulin is a hormone that controls glucose in the body. Quitting sugar starts decreasing excess insulin from the body. You can skip eating sugar completely, but you should keep eating natural sugar sources such as fruits, cereals. If you stop sugar completely, it can be dangerous for your body.
