Mumbai: In an interesting step, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar revealed that officials have been directed to install CCTV cameras in jumbo Covid-19 hospitals. Talking to the media, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said, "I have asked officials to install CCTVs inside jumbo Covid Hospital and a TV outside it so that relatives of the patients can at least see their patients inside through TV since they can't enter the hospital".

Earlier, he also stated that the central gonvernment have been informed about the ratio to be followed for providing oxygen cylinders that are needed in health services and industries.

"We have informed Center through Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, that oxygen cylinders should be provided to health facilities at a 50-50 ratio, so that equal share is supplied to both health services and industries.": Ajit Pawar had said.

As Maharshtra prepares to have its Assembly session from September 7, various steps have been taken to ensure the smooth running and also pertaining to the matter that need to be discussed.

"For Assembly Session, beginning from September 7, we have collected the requirements of public health department, police department & departments working for Covid-19, to discuss it in session. All attending the session have been asked to get tested for Covid,": Maharashtra Deputy CM informed.
